Four disciples sit around a table arguing about current

affairs when the messiah enters the room and interrupts them

i have gathered you, my disciples,
here to share with you the divine

JOHN
we listen

i have reached the truth of the

surely you are not serious
MESSIAH
indeed i am but do not worry, we shall
go on a journey to rid you of your
evil natures so that your sprits will
be elevated with true virtue

they leave their seats and follow the messiah through the
door of the painted dessert outside

the men walk on a path untill they see a tower in the
distance where they stop
messiah points with the sword at the tower
MESSIAH
this tower is the temple that houses
the evil of the world it is there,
that we shall rid humanity of it
SIMON
if it is even true
simon starts speaking but gets interrupted.
BEGGAR
oh good sirs have you coin to spare
for the poor beggar
MESSIAH
surely we can spare some money...
he lets go of his sword and reches into his pocket
when he lets go the beggar takes the sword and starts to run
BEGGAR
i might be able to sell this for good

i can't let him take the sword
messiah picks up a stone from the ground and throws it at the
beggar who then falls to the ground
messiah ands followers walk up to fallen beggar
beggar is still alive but badly hurt
MESSIAH
...something about theft
picks the sword up
they walk off towards the tower
9 9EXT.DAY.TOWER
they arrive at the tower door which as an eye on it
they stop in front of the door
the door speaks
DOOR
to let you enter i must be shown a
proof virtuousness
take the eye with you and come back
once it has witnessed an act of true
virtue
messiah reaches out and grabs the eye out of the door
the eye has a string attached to it and he hangs it on his
neck
they step away from the tower
PHILIP
this is ridiculous how is it possible
to be truly virtuous if you are doing
it to be seemingly virtuous
JOHN
I'm sure this is the test we are
intended to overcome
PETER
i think you should find the beggar and
show him forgiveness inspire of his
offence towards you

beggar

beggar, badly hurt, rests against a tree when the characters
enter the frame

kneels down in front of the beggar

(pulls out the sword)here take it if
you wish
BEGGAR

Messiah reaches out both hands holding the blade
beggar reaches out and comes to touching the sword and in the
moment relinquishes it.
BEGGAR
yes i am sure keep it
messiah stands up
MESSIAH
im happy we came to terms with each

they step away

there is only one way to find out
they walk back to the tower

the door is open
JOHN
so it has worked
they enter
as they enter messiah takes off the eye of his person and
puts it back on the door
12 12INT.DAY.TOWER
they walk through a corridor end to end and arrive in the
room that holds the source
MESSIAH
this is the source of evilness of the
species. here i shall destroy the
source and save humanity from its own
flaw
he raises the sword and strikes at the source (unidentified
object) and the sword goes straight through the object the
people look at it with a look of surprise as both the source
fades away and both the room and the messiahs attire changes
PETER
the blade has cut trough the illusion
and lies and revealed the truth
PHILIP
the source doesn't exsist
MESSIAH
does this mean i failed my purpose
JOHN
possibly, but do not despair for even
in your own ignorance you have brought
us to our revelation
