Target Audience
This Is our ideal target audience member.
- Gender : Male
- Age : 16 to 24
- Favourite Films : James Bond, Mission Impossible
- Hobbies: Sport
- Preferred Genre : Action
Our particular Target Audience range would shop at your average high street shops like, topman,
river island, Nike, etc. Type of music they would listen to would be chart or Rap music as it is very
modern and upbeat mainly, very mainstream also. Favourite TV programme would be those action
TV series such as Breaking Bad, Prison Break and Lost as these are packed with action and violence.
Why would they Watch our film?
They would watch our film because it is
packed with action and tense high
speed chases, with guns and violence.
They would be drawn into our film
straight away as you don’t have to wait
ages for the action to kick In, it is as
soon as the film starts which
immediately captures the audience.
Audience profiles of films
The range of product has broadened significantly with cinema no longer being the sole preserve of
Hollywood blockbusters. Cinema is now a much more common thing especially with all the brand new
technology's it has to offer such as 3D and IMAX cinemas which offer a much more enjoyable
experience. You have a wide range of options to choose from to watch so there is something for
everyone to enjoy. All of this has resulted in an increasingly diverse range of audiences going to the
cinema on a regular basis, all of them highly targetable by any number of criteria including film choice
and location.
Audience profiles continued
These are some of the major audience
profiles, it is evident from this information
that ages 15+ go to the cinema mostly and this
is increasing all the time. The art house
cinemagoer is more likely to be older and
more mature mainly, upper middle class,
middle class and lower middle class which is
what ABC1 stands for.
The ideal age range for our film is ages 15+
Male and ideally into action films such as
James Bond and The Dark Knight.
Films similar to ours
James Bond Quantum of
Solace, is similar to our film
in the sense it goes straight
into the chase scene at the
opening part of the film. I
think that males ages 15+
are most interested in this
film, especially because of
the bond girls in the films
which creates a male gaze
and makes them want to
watch it as they know that
there is one in every bond
film. There is also lots of car
chases and guns involved
which boys like to watch
within an action film.
