1 P.O.V Camera is to be hand-held and shaky by the Mother’s
actress. So it portrays how the mother is feeling.
2 Panning/Tracking Of the mother running through the woods – it gives the
audience a different perspective and emphasises panic.
3 High Angle Tree will be climbed by a camera man – camera stays still
as mother runs across the scene – shows the mothers
vulnerability.
4 Establishing shot Of house – the mother arrives – tension building music
will be heard.
5 Tilt/P.O.V Mother looking up at the house as it towers above her.
Shows how small she is – building is intimidating.
6 P.O.V Of sign - it is in Latin to confuse the mother and the
audience.

7 Establishing/Long Shot Shows her body language and what’s around her –
mother running into house and standing in the doorway.
8 Tracking/Close-Up Child walking up the stairs as credits roll (incorporated
into the stairs). The camera will be tracking her feet
slowly.
9 Zoom (x 3) This will be filmed as one continuous shot and edited
down into 3 different scenes as it cross cuts from mother
to daughter in the actual film.
10 Tracking Mother going up the stairs – occasionally looking around
as she hears sinister laughter and footsteps behind her.
11 P.O.V Mother reaching for child at the top of the stairs. Child
with back to mother/camera.
12 Close Up The child’s face – it is revealed she is wearing a creepy
mask. (Quickly cuts to black after seeing her face)
