Cut out fleece pieces using pattern.
Embroider eyes & attach wings. (BE SURE YOU ARE SEWING ON THE OUTSIDE OF EACH
PIECE!). Attach wings with several stitches at the front, leaving the pointy end free.
Align & hold body pieces together. Begin blanket stitch* just below the beak position.
Tuck the beak into position and continue blanket stitch around the body.
Position the gusset below the tail.
Stitch along one side of gusset to first blanket stitch (under the beak.) Turn and stitch
along the other side of gusset. Leave an opening for stuffing.
Stuff & blanket stitch closed.
*There are several blanket stitch tutorials on Youtube. Search
“blanket stitch.” Sewingmayalso be done with a sewing machine.
