2. WHAT SOCIAL GROUP DOES OUR
PRODUCTION REPRESENT?
Mostly, our production represents the middle to lower class youths
of today.
This is the most appropriate as our production includes drug
taking and discriminatory language or behaviour, this is not really
going to be stereotyped with the upper-class.
Our characters in the sequence are also portrayed as quite
‘Chavvy’ and violent people, this links it in with this class well.
3. VISUALS
In our production, we tried to keep the feel as urban and new as
possible
We dressed our characters in young clothing such as hoodies in
order to give the audience a sense of the fashion at the time the
film is set.
The visual image of the characters represent the lower-class to
middle class youths quite well as they are all dressed as a
stereotypical middle class teen would be.
4. AUDIO/DIALOGUE
Throughout the script, lots of urban slang in thrown in to give the
audience another perspective of the social group of the film.
Words such as ‘Bruv’ are used a lot in order to portray the young
urban feel.
These words are often stereotypical with the lower-class to
middle- class youths of today and it gives the audience an
obvious indication of this.
