5. In Case of An Emergency Situation
Pushing the bollards with the bumper of a vehicle will unlock the “Break Away
Feature” which will collapse the bollard allowing immediate emergency access.
6. Breakaway Safety Feature
The breakaway feature works by allowing the unit to “break away” from the base unit permitting
vehicular access without using the wrench operation or removing the padlock. Two unique inserts are
designed to shear, or tear away, when pushed by a vehicle.
