1. Change Habits
to help the environment
etwinning 2021-2022
LET’S ACT
at School, at home,
for you, for the others, for all
2. Ipsonas 1 Primary School, (Panagiota Ktori)
A bad habit I have
changed, is that I have
stopped using a plastic
bottle, everyday, for my
drinking water. I am using
a metal hermit crab refilling
water. In this way I will
save 365 plastic bottles a
year, 2555 bottles the next
seven years.

envelopes
Ipsonas 1 Primary School (Panagiota Ktori)
“We don’t want to use the
plastic envelopes for our
drawings this year. We can
create our owns.” David said,
and we supported it. So, we
made our envelopes from paper
and draw them as we like.
4. 3. Cut the ropes from face masks, before you throw
We are destroying our planet. Our
planet needs help!
Why?
Because fish and animals are dying
because of our actions. Our planet has
to be saved.
Help!
Masks may cause fish die. They need
our help. Let’s cut the ropes of
facemasks before we throw.
LET’S ACT and help our planet!
Save our planet.

organic garbage
At the back of our school yard, there is a Trash can composter,
which we will use to reduce garbages.
So, composters help reducing the amount of waste and provide the hobby
gardners with fresh humus
12. 7. Plan new trees and plants to increase oxygen in
the environment
We decided to write a letter to the Mayor of
Pallini, asking to offer us a few trees in oder to
plant them in our school yard!
We signed the document and sent it to the
Mayor!
We hope, we will have news very soon!

“The little lunchbox” (1)
We have settled a gamification procedure
for all students at school in order to change
habits and persuade them to use a
reusable plastic lunch box instead of plastic
or paper bags.
In this way, less waste will be produced by
all the students!

We decided to collect all the food that students
don’t eat and want to throw so as to minimize our
rubbish but also feeding animals like cats, dogs
and chickens. Our students are very excited for this
action and their chickens as well.

24. Water conditioner - less water wasted
Did you know that most of your plants would love a
homemade flower conditioner from eggshells?
Let’s start with water from boiling eggs, let it cool, then
use it to water your plants at home
*don’t use salt!

25. A car every day? No, thank you
It’s good for your body, it’s good for your
mind, it’s so good for the environment if
you choose a different means of transport
instead of a car.
Maja and her friends know that and try to
rollerskate or ride a bike to school
whenever they can

26. Zero waste - upcycling is great
Everybody knows that recycling is
important. Recycling means ‘using again’.
Maja and her family are familiar with the
idea of ‘upcycling’ - using waste to make
something more interesting and valuable.
Can you guess what
these flower pots really
are?

27. If you go to the forest - go empty-handed
but come back with something
Never, ever leave anything in the forest -
rubbish is dangerous for the soil, the
animals, it can even cause fires. However, if
you are on a walk and see some rubbish,
why not take it home and put in an
appropriate recycling bin?
Maja knows how to do it!
