6. Observations
• Oyster restoration is a national phenomenon with
almost every coastal state with some activity.
• Oyster restoration can be executed in urban areas
such as New York, Brooklyn, Baltimore,
Galveston, Savanah, San Fransisco.
• From reviewing the literature the drivers for
restoration are enhancing the quantity and
variety of sea life, improving water quality and
enhancing aquaculture.
