An investigation into the impact of overpopulation and poverty in the community of Highgate for the past Ten (10) years.
Purpose of Project
This investigation was conducted to evaluate the impact of overpopulation and poverty on the community of Highgate for over the last 10 years. The
aim is to evaluate the factors causing the growth of the population and the impact of population growth and poverty on the environment.

Mary, found that majority of the population is women. There were more 25–30 years old in the population, followed by young adults then middle age,
the 51–70 years old folk. It was also established that majority persons came to Highgate for job opportunity, then cheaper house access to social
services and the least, for other reasons. Majority of the population contain single parents, which are employed and are able to provide all the basic
amenities. Most of the houses in the community have over 4 children occupying them. The least of the population had 1 or 2 children occupying
them. Majority of these children attend school because it is close to home and they can afford to. The other children do not attend school because they
cannot afford to. There are social services available in Highgate and majority of the population uses these services because it is close to home. Some
say the wait is too long they bother while others say they have other reason for using/not using them. Majority of the population has access to light and
water in the community and majority receive excellent services. Lastly most of the population is educated about family planning.

By analyzing various articles that provides various viewpoint on the phenomenon of Modernism and its relationship to modernist architectures during
the 1920s and 1930s, linkages, similarities and differences between how each author define modern architecture can be observed. These varying

The basic premise for the piece is built around a night down at the local pub. It focuses on many issues associated with and around the working class
man around the time of Thatcher's Britain. During the 1980's the accepted Patriarchal society was starting to diminish. Women started to take up a
larger role in the household and formulate strong opinions for themselves to move away of its traditional 20th century span. This piece explores the
notions of these working class men, how men interact and express emotion to one and other and popular culture of the 1980's.
As a viewer the piece can feel at times like a fly–on–the–wall documentary following and depicting the lives of these 'average' stereotypical men on an
emotional journey on a night at the Pub. Issues such as homophobia, Pub culture, sex, voyeurism, violence and the football culture of the time are all
conveyed throughout the piece making the whole an eclectic mix of themes and issues of which people can relate. The movement in the piece is more
stylised and physical theatre than "clearing the space for set routines" (anon. teachers resource pack, EA).
There are a lot of pedestrian gestures built into the choreography. Newson has tried to make the piece seem as close to real life as possible without
getting to the stage where it is just viewed as a dance piece and nothing more. Also the inclusion of mime helps to make the piece more diverse

The Pros And Cons Of School Uniforms
School uniforms have both negative and positive feedback. Some view it as promoting conformity, or taking away a student's individuality. It is
always a fear to both parents and students to have the liberties promised to them striped away just because of their age or for the sake of being
educated. This is why many families took these cases to court on the behalf of the minor in their custody. Others tend to view it as a way to make things
better for students. They want to enforce that equality but at the same time embrace differences. They want uniforms to decrease judgment and
discrimination among students. They want student to behave according to societies standards. They don't want any malice or jealousy due to a few
differences. They want the uniform to keep things orderly.
"The School Board's purpose for enacting the uniform policy is to increase test scores and reduce disciplinary problems throughout the school system,"
the appeals court wrote in Canady. "This purpose is in no way related to the suppression of student speech." (findlaw/us 5th circuit) The school system
won and it was decide that the uniform policy was not a violation of the student's first or fourteenth amendment rights. Also it was brought up that the
uniforms actually help with behavior and test scores.
Uniforms are becoming increasingly more popular in the states due to that specific reason. Uniforms which were 1st seen in private schools here in
the US have public schools readily following the trend. The dress codes now enforced by majority schools believe it restricts students use of clothing
as an element of contemporary communicative intake. It is therefore used as a precaution to keep gang violence,and crime rate down.
The implementation of uniforms was to increase student success, and deter bad behavior. Their has yet to be a link that suggest a substantial
connection between the school uniform policies and student achievement. The results do not particularly deny or back either side of the uniform
argument. The results do nonetheless strongly intimate that uniforms are not the solution to all of Americaneducation's ills. Though this was the initial

This paper discussed the life of Herbert Spencer (Spencer) and his contributions to the field of Sociology found from print (textbook) and non–print
sources (online). Each article touched base on Spencer's life, but each described it differently. Over all, the article discussed how Spencer was
homeschooled and raised by his father and uncle (Delaney, 2003) and how he was the founder of social Darwinism and how he "coined the term
'survival of the fittest,'" (Ferris, K., & Stein, J., 2014, p. 21). Spencer's major books that he has written are in this paper as well. This paper also

Life of John Venn John Venn was born on August 4, 1834, in Hull, England. His parents were Martha Sykes and Reverend Henry Venn.

Caroline Chrisolm was a great Australian Catholic. She always took action if she saw inequality between people. Many people agreed that if
Australia was to have another canonised saint it would be Caroline Chrisolm. Chrisom was born on 30 May 1808, at Northampton in the United
Kingdom. Chrisom and her husband Archibald Chisholm first travelled to India in 1832 where she was sent to Madras (present day Chennai) where
she founded the education institute for the Daughters of European Soldiers. Soon the Chisholm's decided to go to Sydney, Australia, they went on the
Emerald Isle on the 15th of September 1838 and settled in Winsor with her three sons. Chrisolm met every immigrant that came to Sydney. She helped
immigrants and sheltered many of them in her home. In January 1841 she met the Governor and Lady Gipps and the Sydney Herald with a plan for a
girls' home. Facing discouragement, she however, convinced Lady Gipps that she was a humanitarian. Chrisolm's next step was to return to England
where she established the Family Colonisation Loan Society. This loan provided money needed by migrant families to travel to Australia. The society
