problems.
A. Traffic starts to get heavy on morning rush.

An outline is a general plan of whatyou are going to write. It is a method fortaking notesthatshows therelationships
between main ideas and otherideasthat support themain idea.
Two Kindsof Outline
1. Topic Outline- thepointsare stated assentences.
2. Sentence Outline- the pointsare stated aswordsorphrase.
In makingan outline,observe the followinginstructionsonformat:
1. Use roman numeralsformain ideas.
2. Use capitalletters forsubheadings.
3. Use Arabicnumeralsforsupporting details.
4. Place a period after thenumeralsand letters thatintroducethe points.
5. Begin every pointin an outline with a capital letter.
6. Do not putperiodsafterthe pointsif the outlineis topical.
7. Indenteach level of the outline.
8. If there is an A,there mustalso be a B. If thereis a 1, there mustalso be a 2.
9. In a topicaloutline, statethepointsof each division in parallel form.

COLORS
Sunlight separates into different
colors, called the visible spectrum as it
passes through the prism. The prism
consists of colors of the rainbow.: red,
orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet
colors. The most prominent colors are
red, green and blue to which our eyes
are most sensitive. They are also the
three primary colors in light. Different
combinations of these colors result in
other colors. When the three primary
colors are combined the result is white.

PLANTS
Plants are vital in our lives. Man, and other form of animals can’t live without plants. The food we eat, the
medicine that we take, the books, and pencils we use in school come from plants. They also give oxygen that
we need in order to breathe. People eat a large number of plants every day. Most animals, like us, depend on
plants for their foods, too. Fortunately, the earth doesn’t run out of plants because plants are able to
reproduce.
