by the poet Jane Hirshfield, has provoked a reevaluation of my ideas of an authentic work of art, especially within the museum. Authenticity has some
definite, and some more vague definitions. In the following paper, I plan to explore what aspects of the museum provide the visitor with an authentic

This bravery doesn't come without a price. On October 9, 2012 Malala's life changed forever (Yousafzai, 2013). Two armed gunman entered
Malala's school bus and asked, "Who is Malala?" (Yousafzai, 2013). Everyone looked at her. One of the men pulled out a gun and shot her in the
head and out through her shoulder. Two other shots were fired, one hit her friend's hand and the other grazed another student's forearm (Yousafzai,
2013). Malala was rushed to the local hospital in Swat Valley. (Yousafzai, 2013) From there they determined that the bullet barely missed her brain,
but her condition was unstable (Yousafzai, 2013). Two hours later they flew her to a military hospital in Peshawar (Yousafzai, 2013). There wasn't
much they could do for her there; the machines were unsanitary and hardly keeping her alive (Yousafzai, 2013). Thankfully two doctors from
Birmingham, Dr. Fiona Reynolds and Dr. Javid Kayani, happened to be around Peshawar (Yousafzai, 2013). They advised to take her to the Queen
Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham, where she made a miraculous two month recovery (Yousafzai, 2013). On December 6, 2012 Malala took her first

Criminologist James Fox of Northeastern University predicts that murders committed by teens will skyrocket as the population of kids 10 and under is
higher than population of 21st century teens by 20%. (Stephens) Mentoring is the act of helping out someone that isn't as knowledgeable or
experienced in different areas. The goal is to make them leaders. (Patterson)
To be a good mentor you have to have great qualities like being helpful and being really good at giving good constructive criticism. Whomever you're
mentoring should receive information that is both positive and negative. You want to makes sure you give pros and cons so that your mentee can learn
from them. (Patterson) Some social activities that you can do in mentoring programs include talking about life experiences, having lunch together, and
visiting the mentor's home for a bonding experience. (Wexler) Although most mentoring programs usually have short durations and are claimed to be
a "waste of money," they are beneficial to girls because they prevent peer pressure, diseases, and pregnancies; encourage girls to be more mannerable,
respectful, and ladylike; and results in kids being more likely to graduate high school and attend college. Mentoring is necessary to a healthy society
because it prevents pregnancies, peer pressure, & diseases. Sixth graders are in a transitioning stage from elementary to middle schools. A lot of them
