This document outlines activities and events being held by various departments at I.E.S. Neil Armstrong to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice ending World War I. Departments including Biology, English, Mathematics, Physics, Arts, French, Technology, Geography, History, and Music will be holding lessons, projects, lectures, and other events focused on aspects of WWI such as disease in the trenches, war propaganda and poetry, decoding machines, chemical weapons, and the role of music. The goal is for students to research and learn about the Great War and its impact as the school commemorates one hundred years since the 1918 Armistice.
