SMART HOME
Smart home is a futuristic
home in which all appliance
of home controlled by
mobile phone controller
who is attached with an IC
pin circuit is called
DTMF(Dual Tone multiple
frequency).
FEATURES OF SMART HOME
(1).By a phone call we can turn
on and off of an AC before
reaching home from office.
(2)We can control the home
appliance far a distance away
(3)Clothes are washed in washing
machine.
(4)We can turn off the light of
room if we forget
DTMF-8870
Dual Tone Multi Frequency
This DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) decoder circuit
identifies the dial tone from the telephone line
and decodes the key pressed on the remote telephone.
DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) decoder IC uses a digital
counting technique to determine the frequencies of the limited
tones and to verify that they correspond to standard DTMF
frequencies. The DTMF tone is a form of one way
communication between the dialer and the telephone
exchange. The whole communication consists of the touch tone
initiator and the tone decoder or detector.

,Nick Holonyak
When a suitable voltage is applied to the
leads, electrons are able to recombine
with electron holes within the device,
releasing energy in the form of photons. This
effect is called electroluminescence
STRUCTURE OF LED
RELAY
 relay is an electrically operated switch. Many relays use
an electromagnet to mechanically operate a switch
 When an electric current is passed through the coil it generates
a magnetic field that activates the armature, and the consequent
movement of the movable contact(s) either makes or breaks
(depending upon construction) a connection with a fixed contact. If
the set of contacts was closed when the relay was de-energized,
then the movement opens the contacts and breaks the connection,
and vice versa if the contacts were open. When the current to the
coil is switched off, the armature is returned by a force,
approximately half as strong as the magnetic force, to its relaxed
position. Usually this force is provided by a spring, but gravity is also
used commonly in industrial motor starters. Most relays are
manufactured to operate quickly. In a low-voltage application this
reduces noise; in a high voltage or current application it
reduces arcing.

electronic circuits requiring a regulated power
supply due to their ease-of-use and low cost.
For ICs within the family, the xx is replaced
with two digits, indicating the output voltage
CRYSTAL OSILLATOR
A crystal oscillator is an electronic oscillator circuit that
uses the mechanical resonance
vibrating crystal of piezoelectric material to create an
electrical signal with a very precise frequency . This
frequency is commonly used to keep track of time to
provide a stable clock signal for digital integrated
circuits, and to stabilize frequencies for radio
transmitters and receivers. The most common type of
piezoelectric resonator used is the quartz crystal, so
oscillator circuits incorporating them became known as
crystal oscillator
BATTERY
The most common form of nine-volt battery is
commonly called the transistor battery
Most nine-volt alkaline batteries are
constructed of six individual 1.5V LR61 cells.

conductor is the opposition to the passage of
an electric current through that conduction

CAPACITOR
A capacitor (originally known as a condenser)
is a passive two-terminalelectrical
component used to store an electric field

Printed circuit board
PCB are the board in which the component of
device are mounted by process of etching
Etching means fix the component on PCB
In etching we use soldering iron , flux and
solder wire
Solder wire is mixture of Tin and Lead

  • 4. DTMF-8870 Dual Tone Multi Frequency This DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) decoder circuit identifies the dial tone from the telephone line and decodes the key pressed on the remote telephone. DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) decoder IC uses a digital counting technique to determine the frequencies of the limited tones and to verify that they correspond to standard DTMF frequencies. The DTMF tone is a form of one way communication between the dialer and the telephone exchange. The whole communication consists of the touch tone initiator and the tone decoder or detector.

Many relays use an electromagnet to mechanically operate a switch  When an electric current is passed through the coil it generates a magnetic field that activates the armature, and the consequent movement of the movable contact(s) either makes or breaks (depending upon construction) a connection with a fixed contact. If the set of contacts was closed when the relay was de-energized, then the movement opens the contacts and breaks the connection, and vice versa if the contacts were open. When the current to the coil is switched off, the armature is returned by a force, approximately half as strong as the magnetic force, to its relaxed position. Usually this force is provided by a spring, but gravity is also used commonly in industrial motor starters. Most relays are manufactured to operate quickly. In a low-voltage application this reduces noise; in a high voltage or current application it reduces arcing.
