Clap Switch

  1. 1. CLAP SWITCH
  2. 2. INTRODUCTION It is a switch which switches on/off any electrical circuit by the sound of the clap. Electric microphone picks up the sound of your clap, and produces a small electrical signal which is amplified by the succeeding transistor. The two transistor change state at each signal.
  3. 3. COMPONENTS  Resistors  Capacitors  LED  Mic  555 Timer  Transistor (BJT)  LDR
  4. 4. CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
  5. 5. ADVANTAGES You can turn anything on/off from any location, simply by clapping your hands.  It involves mobility-impaired person. 
  6. 6. DISADVANTAGES Unnecessary disturbances may occur  Generally seen as simpler for most use cases to use a traditional light switch. 
  7. 7. FUTURE SCOPE We can increase the range of this equipment by using a better Mic.  Can use this as Remote Controller. 
  8. 8. APPLICATIONS Fan  Motor  Air conditioner, and etc…  Tube light 
  9. 9. THANK YOU!!!
