2. I am glad to welcome you to the
Barnaul zoo "Forest Fairy Tale"!
Come here, satisfy curiosity, learn
something new about the animal
world!

3. Сhildren and adults like to
go to the zoo. I like to go
there too. I want to tell you
about zoo in Barnaul.

4. Today there are many different wild
animals live there.
The wolf, snowy foxes, deer,
reindeer, elks, roes increases the
collection of animals.

5. In the zoo you can see 16 very rare
wild animals put down in the
Red book.
They are: the African lion, the
Amur tiger, the pink pelicans,
leopard,
camel and others.

6. The history of the Barnaul
Zoo began in July 1995,
when two chickens and two
rabbits were brought there.
In 2001 the yak was settled
in the zoo.

7. In 2005 there was a reorganization
of the park and the zoo received its
second birth. Under the leadership
of the new director of the park old
wooden cages were changed to new
modern design.
