Makmur SDN BHD located in
Taman Wahyu. He is one of
the Professional Charted
Builder and achieved advance
diploma in Tunku Abdul
Rahman College ( TARC ). He
started off as a “construction
man” in a quantity surveyor
firm and then proceed to
become a project manager in
a construction company
before venturing into
development. The market
that just rely on a
construction piece is not
sustainable ,therefore a lot of
contractor after sometime
move towards development.
In the early life of Mr. Lee ,he
has to sacrifice his precious
time with his family members
for his work because this
industry is very tough. Then
as time goes ,he started
realized the importance of
family life .
Besides that, Mr. Lee has
great photographic skills .He
is the secretary of the
Photographic Society of
Petaling Jaya .He offen give
talks in college about

4. In 1990 ,Mr. Lee and his
partner started a development
company .Then in 1995 ,his
partner suggested that they
should develop into a
construction company.
.However after a few
months ,his partner prefer
to have their own
development company and
decided to walk their own
path. From then Builders
Ekar Makmur was finally
founded in 1996 . The
company remains successful
until this day .
Mr Lee’s defintion of ‘successful
achievement’ in construction
industry was basically making
sure every project one engaged
on had decent quality before
handing the product to the
purchaser.
Therefore ,quality aspect of a
building is very important .So,
contractor or developer has to
ensure that the building that
they delivered to buyers are value
for money .
In construction industry ,he
claimed that problems are
everywhere and every time. That
makes this industry very
demanding and challenging .”The
moment when you decided to
enter this industry ,you must like
to solved problems ,if not you will
find that life’s meaningless”, he
quoted .

making of building for
developer to sell. Mr. Lee

the same time because he
was responsible in both
roles. Besides that ,he also
get to control the cash flow
and the procedure of the
project easier.
