1. Vehicle control system for automatic valet
parking with infrastructure sensors
This paper presents vehicle control system for automatic valet parking
with infrastructure sensors. First, we describe the automatic valet parking
service system. In the service, vehicle moves autonomously based on
sensing data generated by infrastructure sensors. Second, we implement
vehicle control system for automatic valet parking. We design hardware and
software components focusing on minimizing the add-on devices and
maximizing data integration. Finally, we do a feasibility test for verification
of the system.
The need for parking slots in commercial areas has gone
up considerably in metros and other towns during the last few
years. The situation is only going to worsen when large number
of cars are ready to hit the roads by the near future
In order to address parking problems in residential and
commercial building spaces, we have introduce automated
Vertical car parking system
It is an automated vertical car parking system available in
modules of 20 and 40 car spaces, with 1 or 2 space per floor and
10 to 20 floors.
2. Working of the Proposed Project:
The user has to enter the floor no of where to park the car.
A Tray from that floor will come to the base and the user has
to park the car on the base. Then the system will
automatically lift the car to the specified floor.
A mechanical model is constructed of two floors for project
demonstration.

or to remember location of parked vehicle.

software can be integrated with nearly any permit or pay
system.
• There are no damages or scratches on vehicles during
parking and retrieval.
Security
• Theft and vandalism are eliminated as no one enters the
garage area where vehicles are stored.
• Accidental damage and scratches to vehicles during parking
and retrieval are eliminated thus giving value for money.
