2. Abstract
This document describes all of the
work carried out for HMS (Hotel
management system) project. It gives
a brief overview of the different
research directions pursued. Each
research direction is described in
more detail in a set of articles
appended to this document.
3. Introduction
The software product to be produced is a
Hotel Management System (HMS) which will
automate the major hotel operations. The
first subsystem is a Reservation and Booking
System to keep track of reservations and
room availability. The second subsystem is
the Payment (exchange) System that
calculates all of financial functions the current
room. The third subsystem is a General
Management Services and Automated Tasks
System which generates reports to audit all
hotel operations and allows modification of
subsystem information.

5. User requirements
Hotel manager or business owner
Keep up to date with current
promotions and hotel pricing, to
provide information to guests.
Work on HMS, manage and deal with
all processes, problems.
6. System Requirements
Hardware Requirements
The Hotel Management System will
use the standard input/output devices
for a personal computer
External Requirements
The HMS will be placed on PC’s
throughout the hotel.
7. Software Requirements
Microsoft windows based operating
system.
Functional Requirements
Functional requirements define the
fundamental actions that system must
perform.
The functional requirements for the
system are divided into three main
categories, Reservation/Booking, Food,
and Management.
9. Testing
All of our program testing are made by
Dzhamal Shukriev Kainchaliev . And
detailed information are on Word
paper.
