The Zarzuela Palace is located in Madrid, Spain and is the residence of King Felipe VI of Spain and his family, which includes Queen Letizia and their daughters, Leonor and Sofia. In the 17th century, King Philip IV commissioned the building of a palace near an area of Madrid called La Zarzuela, giving the palace its name. Today, the Zarzuela Palace serves as the home of the Spanish royal family and is open for public tours from October to March daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
