1. BASIC EDUCATION IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY AND THE
CHALLENGES OF SECONDARY EDUCATION
1. - What should more significant expressions or aspects consider the
secondary education mediate of the third millennium?
The secondary education will develop strategies to take to the practice the
ideals of the educational quality, understanding that its approaches should be
the relevancy, the relevance, the effectiveness, the efficiency and the
educational justness. For it, we should advance in the generation of alternative
models of organization and administration that modify the practices in the
school environment; in the process of transformation of the high school like unit;
guaranteeing a strategy participative, widespread, progressive and permanent
that it allows us to promote the equality with quality so that nobody is away from
the school. In any event, we are sure that, without justness, it is not possible to
reach the quality of the education, for it the school should reconsider to make of
the equality a value and a goal to reach in all the levels and to different scales.
Something like that could take the ideal of the justice and the justness to their
fuller realization.
2.-¿Which are the main topics that they should be approached to achieve the
improvement of the quality of the secondary education?
• Expansion, diversity and justness.
• The students' school trajectory and analysis of the levels of curricular
flexibility.
• Revision of the functions assigned to the high school in terms of
construction of the knowledge and contribution to the society.
• Institutional configuration and I model of administration.
• Institutional climate.
• Institutional sensibility
• Infrastructure and resources.
3. - How should be the objective that impulse proactive in the secondary
education that allows us to achieve the best in the possible futures?
The objective is to arrive constituting a true learning community and of to work
on the whole, capitalizing the heterogeneity that characterizes to each group.
That the flexibility of the structure not allows alone to integrate that diversity but
rather it transforms to the learning into a project emancipator.
But this movement will be possible, if the challenge of the transformation, This
challenge is assumed it implies a moving of habits that transforms the individual
thing in collective, to work teams that point to the combined elaboration of the
knowledge and the routine thing, in constant challenge.
