9. Front Cover
• I feel that my magazine uses loads of codes
and conventions exactly the same as
magazines that are being sold in stores.
• But i also feel that there are some things that
can be improved and even added in to make
this magazine look even better.
10. Positives
• I feel i have used the main image correctly. I
used a image of a pupil to be the main image
and then put that image on top of another
image that is a corridor of a school I think this
was successful because the two go together
well and people can tell easily that this is a
school magazine.
12. Negatives
• The Title of the magazine is very plain and
basic.
• A magazine title should be iconic and be
something people can remember and
recognise instantly
• To improve I feel I should take more time and
effort on the title so the magazine looks
professional
13. How did you use new media
technologies in the construction of
your media product
14. Front Cover
• To make the front cover i used a photo
manipulation software called “Photoshop”
this allowed me to create this magazine and
really helped with putting one image onto
another and edited images and text to make
them look profession.
22. Photoshop
• Firstly you can see I got a blank page and
added my first image of the school corridor. I
did this because i thought it would look
different instead of having a white or plane
background. This grabs the audiences
attention just by looking at it.
23. Photoshop
• Secondly I added the image of my peer this
get the audiences attention because they will
know this girl and will want to find out why
she is on the cover.
24. • Then I added the title in the top left and
corner . This is a code of music magazine
covers which I have followed to get the
audiences attention just from glancing at the
magazine
• I also added
25. • Next I added a barcode and a line of promotion
• I added the barcode in the bottom right hand
corner because this is another code of music
magazine covers. It is not in the very bottom
corner because it can be put where ever there is
space
• I added the line of promotion because this will let
the audience know who is in the magazine and it
is also a code of music magazine covers
26. • After that I added the main cover line and sub
cover line. This relates to the main image and
gives us details. This code of magazine covers
is used of every music magazine cover.
27. • Finally I added the cover lines that are
positioned around the main image because
this is also a code of magazine covers that I
have followed and also it lets the audience see
what's inside the magazine without going to
the contents
