Target audience Family’s, Teenagers aged between 13-18 and under
25’s who enjoy rollercoasters.
Tone of voice? Exited tone to show the excitement of going to Alton
Towers and the excitement in his voice as it sounds
as if he is on a rollercoaster. As well as this, he is
using a persuasive tone.
Sound effects?
(SFX)
Rollercoaster noises in the background for example
the sound of the tracks underneath the carriage and
the screams from other people on the rollercoaster.
Also screams from people when he says ‘Scarefest’

sound?
Background sound effects and the narration from the
man featured in the advertisement
Use of music? No music used only sound effects and a voiceover.
How many tracks? No tracks – Only sound effects and voice over used.
Sound levels? Sound levels vary due to him sounding as if he is on a
rollercoaster – occasional screaming and shouting
and at the end he has a normal level.
Length? 60 seconds long.
