• Is a regular square prism
Equation:
- Surface Area = 6푥2
- Volume = 푥3

• 6 flat sides
• All angle are 90°
• All faces are rectangle
Equation:
- Surface Area = 2WL + 2HL + 2HW
- Volume = Length x Width x Height

What is prisms?
A prism is a solid object with:
• two identical ends
• all flat sides(polyhedron)
• same cross section all along
its length
• The shape of the ends give the
prism a name
