3. INTRODUCTION
Waste
Any material which is not useful and has no economic value
Over 1,10,000 tons of waste is being produced every day
Leads to the formation of dump sites with garbage mountains as high
as 20 feet.

5. VISION
Here in G2G organisation, we believe in decomposing and
facilitating recycling of every last bit of garbage that we find on any
dump site and turning it into something useful.
We also want to be the visionary leaders in decomposing and
recycling while educating the community including the government
on the ease and benefit of recycling.
Also, achieving the status of “be all and end all” method of garbage
disposal in the society.
5
6. MISSION
Our mission is to provide an easy and responsible means of
recycling garbage.
To demolish the roots of the garbage mafia from our society.
Be the means to an end of health diseases spread through ill-
treatment of garbage.
6
7. CURRENT SCENARIO
Improper and costly garbage disposal system practiced by
Government
Possible corruption scenario
Hold of garbage mafia over waste disposal
Adversely affecting the health of near by areas of dump sites
7
8. WASTE TREATMENT – OUR APPROACH
Landfill size = 10 feet deep and 0.5 km in length
So it requires :
clearing this section with the help of JCBs
making the landfill
spreading long plastic sheets at the bottom to protect ground level water
filling the 1st layer with garbage, then next layer with dirt, then continuing this
process till it fills up
It will take 4 weeks to decompose the degradable waste to convert into manure.
All non-degradable wastes like plastic, textiles, etc will be collected on the top.
Collecting these rags from landfill and sending them to any recycling company.
Repeating the formula
8
9. Organizational Objectives
Environment – friendly way of waste disposal and ultimately
utilization.
Feasible or cost-effective way of disposing garbage
Using recycling process to solve anti-social elements in society.
To clear off unaddressed or improperly managed dump sites with
our method
Possible long-term government tie-ups.
9
11. OPERATIONAL STRUCTURE
The six of us would be the partners and administrative managers of G2G with
powers & responsibilities divided equally.
All of us will be contributing in the initial investment for starting the
organization and performing for the completion operational tasks.
The funds will be generated from the institutions that provide loans which
include banks,KFC (tasksKerala Finance Corporation), etc.
11
12. Contd.
We will divide the responsibilities in operational and administrative
departments which includes mainly : managing the employee and workers,
choosing dump sites, and incharge of networking .
The finance department will consist of one financial manager who will be
incharge of the accounting and financial aspects of the company.
The lower level will consist of workers (approx. 15 workers) who will
perform the loading, cleaning, and maintenance job.
12
13. PROFIT ANALYSIS
Cost :
Two JCbs clearing the garbage and
making the landfill for 8 hours everyday
in two weeks = Rs. 224000 per landfill
(considering 1 jcb costs as 1000 per
hour)
Two JCBs taking out the manure and
other non-degradable materials for 1
week = Rs. 112000
Estimated cost of Plastic sheet =
Rs.10000 per landfill
Salary to financial manager ( Rs. 30000
per month )
Wages:63000 (200 perday for worker
for 3 weeks [21 days])
Total : Rs. 439000 approx.
Revenue:
From govt = Rs. 740000
Clearance charges : Rs. 370 per tonne
Decomposing charges = free of cost
Providing materials to recycling company: free of
cost
Profit:
Rs. (740000 - 439000) = Rs. 300000 approx.
13
14. SOCIAL RELEVANCE
Aids government to follow an eco-friendly and cost effective way of
waste disposal
Producing materials of further use from the waste
To eliminate the existence of garbage mafia
Helps to remove social, economic and health related issues from ill-
treatment of waste
14
15. ADVANTAGES
Feasible or Cost effective method
Eco-friendly approach
Eliminates existence of anti-social elements from society
Meritorious than the current method utilised by the government
Production of manure for agriculture and separation of non –
decomposing items for recycling plant
15
16. FUTURE PLANS
Planning to introduce a laboratory system to facilitate R&D department which might help
us to find other alternatives of decomposing
Recent innovation in bacterial trash management is conversion of PET plastic into PHA
plastic which is both biodegradable and more economical. Hence, using this breakthrough
as well.
Possible government tie-ups
Selling the manure in the market
Starting our own recycling plant
16
17. CONCLUSION
With the help of anaerobic process which is both natural and economical, we
can decompose waste and turn it into something that is valuable.
It is way better than the current waste treatment policy of the Government
It is both feasible as well as hugely profitable business.
It has the potential of future expansion and innovation.
