3. For my experiment have made a weapon and its attack
process, to start it I drew the staff using the pencil tool and
added a flame at the top on a separate layer, this is so I
could then make several flames that are slightly different to
one another so I can make it move as an animation, using
the shadow tool for the colors in the flame.
Once the actual weapon was complete and had a simple
animation I made a stick figure as the target using the same
sort of process as the flame to get him to move as if he's
being hurt. Then to make the actual attack I simply drew
various lines in blue that progressively get closer to the man
then finally engulf him, to make the bolts move to him I just
again used frames and layers.
To finish the animation of I simply just made a larger flame
and followed the same process only around the guy so its
as if the lighting has caught him alight.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• After completing my experiment i will be
including all of the elements in my experiment, as
my game is fantasy based I will include the same
style.
• My game is turn based therefore it may contain
similar attack animations, and my game will also
contain the same flame animation I have made.
