Masthead- The masthead is placed at the top
left corner of the magazine. The font is quite
small however it is bold this makes it stand out
it is small as it leaves room for main image. The
font colour they have used is white this makes
it stand out from the dark background.

Coverlines- The coverlines are in a different
font making it different from the information
about the articles this makes it stand out
making the reader attracted to the article.

Main image- The main image usually is of the
artist that is featured in the magazine. Their
code of attire is usually similar to the colour
scheme of the magazine. On this magazine
Bring Me The Horizon is wearing black or white
however there is some gold this is the same as
the colour of the text in the box below them.

Page numbers- these numbers are there so
the audience will know which page they can
find the article therefore it is easier for
people who are fans of a certain band will
be able to turn to that page. The page
number usually follow the colour scheme

page may be the same as the front page and
may be carried on throughout the
magazine.

is positioned in the top left of the
contents page alongside the
issue number this will make the
audience aware of what date the
magazine is from and what the

Layout- the articles are positioned in
columns this will make it easier for
the audience to read and it makes
the magazine look neat
