7. General Objectives
1. To know some of the most relevant aspects involved in the audiovisual activity of
Youtube.
2. To discover and reflect on the relationship between language and music as essential
elements in the elaboration of audiovisual texts.
3. To recognize the new communication languages of the Internet in platforms, such
as Youtube in order to know, disseminate, investigate, contrast and know how to
give an opinion on the contents that appear on different channels of this platform.
4. To develop skills in the technological field that help the own research of the project
in relation to the creation of small multimedia products and oral exposure.
5. To promote a critical and enterprising spirit about the consumption of multimedia
content that is accessible to the user.
8. Course Contents
1. Oral expression resources and skills.
2. Recognition of narrative and dramatic texts as support for audiovisual
products.
3. Knowledge of the elements of narrative and theatrical texts.
4. Elaboration of a script and staging for the creation of a video with narrative
and dramatic support. A theatrical scene will be introduced.
5. Passive sentence.

2. Group performance of an original piece created by
the students.

4. New technologies applied to music.

9. Specific Objectives (Literature)
1. To learn to speak in public, in formal and informal situations, individually
and in groups.
2. To use language to express oneself coherently and appropriately in the
various contexts of social and cultural activity, to become aware of one's
own feelings and ideas and to control one's own behaviour.
3. To use the media and information technologies with progressive autonomy
and critical spirit in order to obtain, interpret and evaluate information of
various types and different opinions.
4. To know the main elements, both narrative and theatrical, and identify
them in different audiovisual fragments.
5. To develop basic digital skills to use ICT as a means of access and learn
about the contents of the subject.
10. Specific Objectives (Music)
1. To analyse and understand the concept of musical texture and recognise
the different types of musical texture through listening and reading musical
scores.
2. To know the basic principles of the compositional procedures and the
forms of organisation of a soundtrack.
3. To show interest in the development of technical skills and abilities as a
means of interpreting activities, accepting and complying with the rules
applying to the interpretation in groups and contributing to musical ideas
that play a part in the improvement of the common task.
4. To explore the possibilities of different sources and sound objects.
5. To use in a functional way the available computer resources for the
learning and investigation of music.
11. Student evaluation
We will evaluate three elements:
1. Language skills in oral and written expression.
2. The creation of the learning portfolio.
3. The edition and creation of a video
We will evaluate three elements:
1. The creation of a soundtrack
2. Research on urban popular music
To evaluate each section we will use a rubric.
