First impressions are important and the same goes for film. The opening title
sequence of a film is that film’s opportunity to make a good first impression on
you, the viewer. A well-crafted title sequence introduces the audience to the tone
and theme of the film as well as the cast and crew.

As our genre is horror, this has inspired us a lot. It’s a creepy opening sequence
that perfectly sets the mood for the film. This is the mood we want to achieve.
This clip holds disturbing noises and a range of mysterious clips making the
audience wonder what is going on. The way the names of the actors, actresses,
directors and so on appear on the screen is very imaginative as they flicker and
move a bit. The writing is white, which is really bright and blinding, it is as if
your eyes scream when they see this colour.
