2. Learning Outcomes
By the end of today’s lesson;
• All students will create a spreadsheet
model (level 4)
• Most students will format the structure of
their spreadsheet to make it fit for
purpose (level 5)
• Some students will add cell formatting to
ensure that all values are in the correct
data type (level 6)
3. Cell Formats
When we create a spreadsheet it is
important to use correct data types to
ensure our data is accurate.
• Text
• Number
• Currency
• Date
Can you think of any examples of these?
4. How to do it!
You will be creating a spreadsheet to
show how much it would cost to
advertise a company by producing
flyers, leaflet and printing and sending
letters to customers.
First we need to see how to do it!
5. Your Task
You will need to create a spreadsheet
to show the following things;
• 5 paper based forms of advertising,
• The cost to print one of each item,
• How many of each item you want
6. Review Learning
On Jogle you should write a paragraph
to explain the following points;
• Why should our spreadsheet have a
professional structure and
appearance?
• How do we give our spreadsheet a
professional appearance?
Editor's Notes
