The insight
The previous puma box was already sustainable however it was still a box, which created large
amount of waste. The packaging was not only aimed at the end product but also its process. It was
important to examine the new system and its effects on the stakeholders from start to end. Through
the examinations a new innovative was created – abandoning the shoebox and thinking outside the
box.
The things to be considered were the design had to be functional, protective; it should work on
existing shelves and displays. It should not require a new process. The cost could be the same or less
but not more.
The research
Puma underwent a life cycle analysis to figure out what was working and what were the problems
with the packaging. It was important to identify the problems and improve the experience of the
customer.
The design team travelled to the manufacturing, distribution and retail centers all over the world to
see the way the previous packaging process of production, transport, and storage takes place.
Research was done on material, which was flexible and sustainable. This was done in partnership
with Material ConneXion. They discovered new material with less environment harm.

with children, since during this time they are starting to form memories. Through memory work
children are able to retell their stories and the stories of others, and are able to create new stories or
recall memories through making meaningful projects (as stated in Neimeyer, 2012). Through this
intervention as Goldman states, "a bereaved child constructs the deceased though an ongoing
cognitive process of establishing memories, feelings, and actions appropriate to the child's
developmental level" (as stated in Neimeyer, 2012, p. 240). Memory work is an intervention that
will help children not to forget about the deceased. Memory work can take the form of writing,
objects, albums, picture stories, and memory boxes. Another method that goes along with memory
work is speaking with the client to help him or her process what they have experienced and
remember. As counselor, I would ask questions: what they remember about the deceased person,
what their initial thoughts were, how did they find out about the death, what are some initial
reactions to certain emotions, where was the client when the death occurred, questions that will get
the client to start to think about their loss as well as where they are now mentally in the process (as

Used shipping containers are a perfect recyclable ready–made structure. All that is needed is a solid
foundation for the containers to be assembled on and then it is a very quick building operation. They
are a readily available building resource. The average container life is 2–3years before it is
liquidated for newer leased models.
They are also incredibly cheap, $1500–$2000 is an average price paid for a used container. For an
approximate 24m2 area (size of 40ft container) to be built for that price before fixtures and fittings
is unobtainable using conventional building methods.

The purpose of this lab was to determine the effect of temperature on the volume of gas when the
pressure is consistent and to verify Charles' Law. The data from the experiment reveals that as
temperature increases, so does volume. This also indicates that as temperature decreases, the volume
decreases as well.
Procedure
1) Select a 60 mL Syringe Sealed from the Gas Syringe item under the Equipment menu. Set the
volume to 20 mL in the Initial Gas Syringe Volume dialogue box.
2) Click on the syringe and select Thermometer from under the Equipment menu.

V1/T1=V2/T2. My Trial A values (20 mL and 293.15 K) were the V1 and T1 values. The
temperatures measured in Trials B, C, D, and E were the T2 values. The quantitative relationship
between the volume and the absolute temperature of a gas is summarized in Charles' Law. This law
states that at constant pressure, the volume of a particular sample of gas is directly proportional to
the absolute temperature. In other words, there is a direct relationship between temperature and the
volume of gas. In an actual laboratory, it must be ensured that the hot water is below 50ºC. If it is
not, the sealed syringe will soften and it could explode.
Conclusion
This lab experimented with temperature and gas according to Charles' Law, which states that gas
