3. ● PDHPE also encourages healthy lifestyle
choices!! It assists students confidence and
helps students look out for their own wellbeing!
● Overall and put quite simply the aim of PDHPE is to
help students develop the skills and knowledge they
need to lead healthy, active and fulfilling lives. (PDHPE
K-6 Syllabus, pp.6-8).

4. Teaching children personal health choices is a vital part of
PDHPE as it teaches children the process of making life
decisions and the act of putting them into practice.
Becoming wary of healthy food choices and safe road
crossing practices assists children with knowledge they are
able to carry with them for the rest of their lives.
