The Shave It Opening

1. Shave it!
CLOSING
A nice and easy way to know what your doing when you say
good night to the lovely Shave it store you love so much 

2. Begin to Shutdown 1 side of
the island:
-Wipe down counter
-Clean Under syrup station
-Wipe goop off of all bottles (sour, frost,
etc.)
-Wipe down shaver (including the ice
shield)

3. Assign tasks to shredders:
-Clean all windows and doors
-Wipe down all tables and chairs
-Bring in the patio furniture
-Sweep & mop
-Clean the bathroom (Wipe down
everything, replace toilet seat covers and
toilet paper if necessary)
-Take out trash and replace trash bags

4. Clean all Windows and
(including stadinloesos rstsee:l kitchen door)

5. Sweep & mop
The ENTIRE store, front, back, middle!
don’t forget the bathroom!

6. Wipe down all tables and
chairs:
-This includes patio furniture as well as the tables and
chairs inside
-When you are done being in all of the patio furniture

7. Lock the front door:

8. Clean the bathroom:
YAY! Everyone's favorite job!
-Wipe down the sink and toilet
-The floor should already be swept and moped but it if isn’t,
make it happen! 
-Replace any missing soap, toilet seat covers, or toilet paper
-Give the trash to the person taking all of the trash out

9. Take the trash out:
Don’t forget the bathroom trash!

10. Clean the entire island:
Yes, you already did half, now for the rest 
-Wipe entire island down!
-Wipe entire island down AGAIN, NO STICKY STUFF!
Please & thank you!
-Make sure everything is in its proper place

11. Soak guns/scoopers:
-Place all syrup guns in tubs of warm water over
night
-Clean all scoopers and place them in the sink

12. Harvest the ice blocks:
Do NOT skip this step!
Don’t know how to harvest an ice block?
see the “Harvest Ice Blocks” chart on the wall

13. Check bibs:
-Check all bibs to see if they are low
-If some are low, make the necessary bibs and label them
(don’t forget to SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE)

14. Close out register:
PART ONE
Step 1: Close out all open checks
Step 2: Clock everyone out, yes EVERYONE
Step 3: Slide the manager card on the POS
Step 4: press the button that says “STEP #1”
Step 5: Take all of those goodies that print out (system
balance report) and use them in step 6
Step 6: Log onto Webex (See next page & fill in the
info (located on the sheets you got in step 5)
Step 7: Count your drawer and put together your drop
(see next page for drop info & drawer counting)
Step 8: Go back to the POS and slide the manager
card again. Hit the button that says “STEP #2” & your
done!

REGISTER CLOSE: PART TWO
-Once you have counted your drawer, you need to
place all of your money and pink slips in a drop (white
envelope).
-You should always round up when doing your drop.
(Ex: $120.75 = $121.00 in your drop)
-List on the outside of your drop:
Name
Date
AM or PM drop
Amount in drop

17. Counting your Drawer:
IMPORTANT: you may want to keep track of totals when adding to avoid recounting
Step 1: Make sure you have your system balance
report
Step 2: Count Change and Cash (pink slips count as
cash)
Step 3: set aside $150 from everything in your til
Step 4: what is left in your til should be the amount of
cash due
(If you are short make a note of it and include your
system balance report in your drop)
Step 5: Place drop in safe (look under “drop info”
page)

18. Counting your Drawer:
Step 1: Make sure you have your system balance
report

-Amount in drop
Then just drop it in the large safe =o)
