7. GROUPS
● all groups will be given a copy of the tapescript for reference/unknown words are asked from
GROUP 1 first and then the teacher. The teacher in WHILE- time acts as a facilitator and in
general as if she is not there.
● GROUP 1 (4 students): given the tapescript underline the necessary vocabulary for practice and
prepare exercises in quizlet in the next lesson/find any unknown words in teacher’s mobile phone with a
dictionary app
● GROUP 2 (5 students): draw with colours the various moods and feelings the child goes through
during the story and name/describe them
● GROUP 3 (5 students): ‘match’ the story with known songs and justify their options. Pick one of the
songs and present it to class in the next lesson, sing or recite the refrain
● GROUP 4 (5 students): write their own narration of the story
● GROUP 5 (5 students): act the story themselves
● reward students with jar of dots m&ms to eat from at the end of the 90 minutes lesson plan!
