For clear communication, it is probably better not to use an endless stream of adjectives.
What is the order of adjectives in a sentence?
In a sentence, the determiner always comes first. This is followed by the quantity, opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material and purpose/qualifier of the noun being described.
Today we will going to discuss the lesson about Order of Adjective.
It is very common to use more than one adjective before a noun in a sentence. Remember, when we use more than one adjective before a noun, we need to put them in right order, according to their type.
In a sentence, the determiner always comes first. This is followed by the quantity, opinion, size, age, shape, color, origin, material and purpose/qualifier of the noun being described.
Let us take a look this table, this is the following arrangement of adjectives in a series.
And we have here different kinds of adjectives.
There are some words you may not even realize are adjectives. These are called determiners, and they come first in the sentence. This includes:
Articles (a, an, the)
Possessives (my, your, etc.)
Demonstratives (this, that)
Again, these is what we call the limiting Adjectives.
Next is Number, we have Quantifiers (many, few, some, any)
Numbers (one, two)
A size adjective, of course, tells you how big or small something is.
For example: large, tiny, enormous, little
A shape adjective describes the shape of something.
For example: square, round, flat, rectangular

An age adjective tells you how young or old something or someone is.

An origin adjective describes where something comes from.
For example: French, lunar, American, eastern, Greek
A material adjective – describes what the noun is made of.
Example: metal, cotton, silk, plastic, wooden
