• The Beatles are one of the most influential and iconic bands of the 20th century.
They used a variety of different musical styles and incorporated a lot of different
instruments into their music. The Beatles created a movement bringing rock and roll
to the masses and giving rock the place it holds today in history. Immediately
gaining one of the largest audiences and fan bases of all time.
• During the 1960s the rock movement really took hold escaping from the music of
the 1950s due to its ability to inspire the masses and youth. The British group the
Beatles were there to carry the torch creating some of the most famous ballads and
songs of the 20th century. Even after the band broke up many of the band members
managed to make a solo career for themselves proving they have great talent even
apart.
