2. SHOT 7- OVER THE SHOULDER
SHOT WITH JUMP CUTS.
This could be difficult to film as jump cuts are hard to edit as you purposely miss
out bits of the scene, therefore doesn’t have continuity. Due to them being
abrupt transitions, they will create tension in our film when the figure appears.
3. SHOT 9 AND 13- POINT OF VIEW SHOTS
These are point of view shots from both Ava and Ben. A point of view shot shows
the characters perspective. This could be hard to film as we have to make it look
realistic and the person who is holding the camera to film the point of view shot
will have to keep their hands steady and in the same place.
4. SHOT 12 AND 18- TRACKING SHOT
A tracking shot is where the camera moves alongside the object it is recording. The
camera is pushed along the track while the image is being filmed. Due to having
no apparatus for this shot it will have to done hand held which could be tricky as
we have to keep very still therefore it may take a few attempts.
5. SHOT 22 AND 25 – PANNING SHOT
We will use this to show the figure outside the window when Ben is at work. This
could be difficult because sometimes the camera moves too quick therefore
doesn’t work effectively.
6. SHOT 29- HAND HELD SHOT
A hand held shot is when you don’t use a tripod, this could be difficult as we have
decided to film this in a shaky motion therefore we want this to look effective and
not accidentally.
7. SHOT 30- CAMERA ARC
An arc shot is a movement of the camera that covers a semi-circle around a
subject. This could be hard to film as we want the shot to look professional which
may take a few attempts as we have never done a camera arc before.
