2. TO DO BEFOREHAND
These instructions are for the pupils participating
in the work shops in Finland.

3. MEASURING
Measure the journey from home to school.
You can do it by using for example
• a map and a measuring tape
• a map program in Internet (f.e. Google Maps)
• a sports application in your smart phone ( f.e.
Sports Tracker)
These are just few examples, you are free to make
it in your own way.

4. HOW FAR DO YOU COME?
• Make a map of all your class mates´ way to school.
Draw the line to school
• red if you come by car
• blue if you come by bike
• yellow if you come by bus
• green if you walk .
• Take a photo of your map and send it to the
coordinator in Finland.

5. HOW DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
• 4
• Ask this question from your class mates and
collect the information of your class.

6. FINALLY
• Give all the information to your teacher who will
forward that to the coordinator in Finland.
• The dead line of this task is in the end of
February 2016
