Activity #1: Tagxedo
Objective: being able to extract the main ideas of a text
Content: Find information on the topic.Then, create a word cloud using
www.tagxedo.com (See what the words that are highlighted in order to do next step).
Finally, make a list of the benefits of recycling has and what you can do in order to take
care of the environment.
Evaluation: Teacher will take into account the use of the tool, grammar, spelling as well
as coherence
Activity #2: Professor's Garfield Comic Lab
Objective: being able to write a comic strip/ Revision of tenses
Content: Inform people by creating a comic in which the benefits of recycling are
mentioned.

Evaluation: Teacher will take into account the use of the tool, creativity, grammar,
spelling, overall presentation and if the benefits were included.
Activity #3: Glogster
Objective: revise the use of imperatives
Content: Go to www.glogster.com and create a poster with the different things that
can be done to take care of the environment. You must include: an image, a video, an
audio file, a text, etc. The idea is that you persuade people to join your cause.
Evaluation: Teacher will take into account the use of the tool, creativity, grammar,
spelling and the overall presentation.
2. Activity #4: Penzu
Objective: free writing so as to check the use of the language
Content: Share with the rest of the class how you felt while you were working on this
project, what you've learned and if you actually did something to take care of the
environment or if you are planning to do something about it. You can write your
feelings in: www.penzu.com
Evaluation: Teacher will take into account the use of the tool and the content.
