Film Poster Evaluation Sheet
1. What is the name of your film?
It is called Naïve
2. What is the genre of your film?
The genre of my film is a drama.
3. Who is the chosen target audience of your film poster?
The target audience for my film poster is late teens/ early
20’s. Mostly girls though.
4. How did you make your poster appeal to this group of people
(for example, through the use of colour, actors, text, layout,
film title)
I used actors that are around that age group and used subtle
colours so children wouldn’t be too interested in the film. I also
chose a specific famous actor around that age group as well;
older people would know who he is.
5. What are you most pleased with about your poster?
I’m most proud with the image and actor I chose because they
pull the whole poster together and attract the audience.
6. How could your poster have looked more professional?
I could have blended the picture into the background or changed
to a better picture to suit the genre better.
Extension 1 – Not enough people are going to see your film. You
must now create a new poster aimed at a different target
audience group. Explain how this second poster would be
different to the first, and why.

2. NAME: Lauren O’Hare.
I would probably lower the target group or make it targeted at most
ages but not children because it might not be appropriate. But also I
would choose a better picture with better quality and may change
the actor to someone more famous and popular in films, somebody
people really want to see, maybe someone like Leonardo De Caprio to
make it more appealing to the younger generation. Also I would
probably try to make the poster more interesting.
