4. GIRLS GOT GRIT:
GGG is seeking new members for their mentorship
program which exposes students to business leaders
and mentor in the community and facilitates hands-on
internships at thriving companies and organizations.
This is a wonderful way to expand your college
applications. Apply by Friday, November 17th . All
applications must be submitted to Emily Torres in the
Development Office, Room A213.
5. BREAST CANCER AWARENESS:
Students in grades 7-12 are invited to attend this event
TODAY, 12:40-1:25pm in the Conference Room. Our
guest speaker will be Dr. Lonora Loo, PH. D., from the
University of Hawaii Cancer Center. Come and hear
about cancer research, treatments and therapies.

7. COMMUNITY SERVICE / FRIGHT NIGHT:
Volunteers grades 7-12 are needed on Friday, October
27th . There are two shifts to choose from:
◦ 2:30pm-6:00pm or 5:30pm-9:00pm.

8. FRIGHT NIGH SELFIE FRAME:
Those interested in entering the Fright Night Selfie Frame
Decoration Contest must sign-up and pick up a selfie
frame from Mrs. Eubanks in Room A226.
Deadline to submit decorated selfie frame is Wednesday,
October 25th . Also, get your club members and athletic
teams together and enter the Fright Night Group Costume
Contest. If interested, sign-up sheet is outside Mr.
Chang’s office (Special Events, 3rd Floor).
9. COSTUME FOR A CAUSE:
Grades 7-12 & Faculty and Staff: The “Costume for a
Cause”campaign is going on now through October 25th .
All proceeds will benefit the National Catholic Educational
Association’s Hurricane Relief Fund to assist Catholic
schools devastated by Harvey, Irma and Maria.
Requested donation is $3. For dress down or dress up
(costume) guidelines, go to Edline.
10. ART ADVENTURERS:
Come out to the Art Adventurers event on Sunday, November 5th
9am-3pm at Bishop Museum. At the event you will paint a canvas
with Juliette Cramer ’22 and local artists and participate in a Keiki
in the Kitchen cooking activity!
To participate: Purchase a $10 painting canvas from Ms. Emily
Torres in the Development Office (A-213) with cash or check
(checks made out to: Ronald McDonald House of Hawaii). All event
proceeds are donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Hawaii!

11. INTERMEDIATE TENNIS:
Practice begins today at Keehi Lagoon tennis
courts from 4:00-5:30pm. The bus will depart
from school at 3:15pm in front of the Chapel. All
participants must be cleared by the Athletic
Office prior to participation. Contact information

12. PAC 5 SWIMMING:
There will be a meeting on tomorrow, 5:30-
6:00pm at Kaimuki High School Library for
student athletes, grades 7-12 and parents.
