“Searching for the Labours of Hercules” is a KA2 Mixed Strategic Partnership for School Education Project funded by Erasmus+ Programme of The European Union. The aim of this booklet is to introduce the mobile game in technical terms, which was developed as one of the intellectual outputs of our EU project "Searching for the Labours of Hercules - 2014-1-TR01-KA201-012990" with the leadership of Hacettepe University by Pixega Game Studio.
An E-book entitled “Various Aspects of ICT Integration in Education” focuses on the ICT integration in education has been created. The book has composed of 12 modules created by academicians from 10 different universities.
In the design process of the book, both theoretical and application framework has been taken into account and it has been aimed to correlate the relationship between theoretical structure and application.Originally developed in English, the book has been translated into Turkish to reach at wider audiences.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
This presentation provides an introduction to quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis and marker-assisted selection (MAS) in plant breeding. The presentation begins by explaining the type of quantitative traits. The process of QTL analysis, including the use of molecular genetic markers and statistical methods, is discussed. Practical examples demonstrating the power of MAS are provided, such as its use in improving crop traits in plant breeding programs. Overall, this presentation offers a comprehensive overview of these important genomics-based approaches that are transforming modern agriculture.

Searching for the Labours of Hercules
2014-1-TR01-KA201-012990
Hungary – Capture the Golden Hind of Artemis
Hercules and the Ceryneian Hind,
19th-century painting by Adolf
Schmidt in its architectural setting.
According to the story Heracles
did not want to kill or injure the
animal, it was because the task
solved without the use of
violence. He persecuted actively
for one full year. During the chase
Heracles followed the animal up in
Istria and hyperboreus territory
chased.
After this the tired gold hind fled
to the wild chase over the
mountain Artemission, and there
rested. When the parched animal
descende to quench her thirst in
the river Ladon, Heracles pulled
his bow and pinned her front legs
together with an arrow. He then
carefully laid her motionless body
across his shoulders, and made his
way back to Mycenae. Arkadia
Mykene went through with it.
Artemis reproached to Herecles,
but later the goddess accepted his
apology and allowed him to
continue on to Mycenae.
Hercules captures the Hind of
Keryneia, breaking off one of its
golden antlers, while Athena (on
the left) and Artemis (on the right)
look on. Attic black-figured neck-
amphora, ca. 540–530 BC. Said to
be from Vulci.
Third labour of Hercules was to
travel to Oenoe [Oinóï] and
capture the Ceryneian deer and
bring it alive to Mycenae. The
fleet-footed, mottled, bronze
hooves and golden horns animal
like stags, for its is still called as
bull. Artemis was the goddess
sacred animals. The child goddess,
Artemis saw five hinds twice the
size of bulls grazing near the black
pebble river Thessaly Anaurus.
She began to chase them, and the
agile goddess was able to catch
four of them by hand and covered
to her chariot.
The fifth not been reached, escaped to Kelada the other side of the river,
the keryneian hill. According to the myth, the goddess Hera wanted it, she
had already invented the works of Hercules.
