1. Zoning
The zoning of PRASINOS is based on the topography of the
site and the concept of tropical rainforest in Malaysia which
consist of 4 layer .The zone of the PRASINOSare named after
the layer of tropical rainforest which include emergent area,
canopy area ,understory area and undergrowth area.
Undergrowth area
At the lowest ground of the tropical rainforest is the
underground area.The 1.5km wide of undergrowth area set as
the main entrance of the city.The citizen and tourism are
require to enter the city through undergrowth area.The reason
that build the entrance in the city because the forest city is huge
hence there should be a entrance at the side of the forest city to
ensure the safety of the city.
Besides that, at the side of the city
consist of 3 main important
buildings which is power supply
building,water supply building and
sewerage system factories.
The transportation in the city is
subway line.The subway line is set
at the underground of the city and
the main pick up point of the subway
line is located at the main entrance
of the city.

2. Understory areA
The second lowest layer of the tropical rainforest is understory area.
The understory area is above undergrowth area. The undergrowth
layer consist of many kinds of different plants and
animals .Hence ,the understory area consist of residential area and
factories area.
The residential area located at the right site of the understory area.
The residential area known as tree house which means the
residential building will be built on the tree. Tourist and resident can
enjoy nature life in a modern design of tree house. The resident can
hear the bird cheeping in the forest ,enjoy the natural air con and
watching sunrise and sunset everyday.
The left side of the city is the factory area .The reason
that factory area build beside the residential area is to
make the resident easier to just walk just a stone throw
away distance to their working area .In the other way,
the factory is built for improve the economy of the city.
The factory is built with special design which is there are
a filter to filter out the smokefrom the factories and there
is the solar panel been pair up on the top roof to absorb
the sunlight energy and convert it into electrical energy.
This is the natural way to conserve the city being from
air pollution .There are different types of industry
factories been built in the city to improve the economy
of the city.

3. Canopy area
The canopy area build up from 3 part.On the left hand
side is the shopping mall.Every city have its own
leisure place to let the resident to relax and spend
their free time.In the other hand the shopping mall
also can help the city increase their income and
improve its own economy.In the shopping mall is
mainly selling the green plant, different kinds of fruits
and it is a good place to allow resident to
communicate and knowing each other.
The right hand side is the residential
area .The resident area is also build
up in modern tree house concept.But
in the canopy area, the residential
will be slightly lesser compare to the
understory area.One of the special
thing at the residential area is there
is a food court placed at the both side
of the residential area.
The food court selling various type
of food and those food are include
the culture of the city like malay
food, chinese food , indian food
and many.

4. Emergent area
Emergent layer is the highest layer in the tropical
rainforest which indicate that it is highest plants and trees
in the area. So, in the emergent area of this city, there is
built by all the important buildings such as sky scraper ,
education building (university, secondary school, primary
school and kindergarden).
The left hand side of the emergent area will be sky scraper. The
sky scraper is the main tower in this city. The sky scraper is like
a flower shape architectural design which shows the nature of
the city. This building is mainly do as government buildings ,law
and adminstration centre. Beside than the flower shape
design ,there is a solar panel place above the top of roof to
absorb the maximum sunlight and transfer the solar energy to
electrical energy.
The right hand side of the emergent layer is education area and other important service centre
like police station , fire fighter station , hospital to serve the citizen when emergency.Those
important building is located one to two layer above the residential area and those who need
service just need take subway to those service centre like around 10minutes or just a short
walking distance around 1km to the service centre.

5. Conserved forest
The conserved forest area is the place that special design
by our city to protect those various plant species. Forest
conservation involves the upkeep of the natural resources
within a forest that are beneficial to both humans and the
ecosystem. Forest conservation acts to maintain, plan, and
improve forested areas. Forests provide wildlife with a
suitable habitat for living along with filtering groundwater
and preventing runoff.
There are 4 types of techniques will be used in forest conservation to improved forested areas
and to makes the available resources sustainable.
Afforestation
Afforestation is a proactive method used to improve forests. Afforestation is the planting of trees for
commercial purposes. The supply of wood and wood products from afforested areas has prevented
the over use and destruction of natural forests. Instead of taking resources from existing natural
forests,afforestation is a process usedto plant to trees and use them as resources instead of naturally
existing forests.Afforestation is a way to create a forest. Afforestation occurs when the planting of
trees is introduced to an area that previously had no trees.
Reforestation
Reforestation is another method to sustain forests by improving existing forested areas. Reforestation
is a method of planting trees in an existing forested area. This method is used in reaction to
deforestation. When forests are removed without reestablishment they can be reforested by planting
trees in the same area to rebuild the existing forest.
Selective logging
Selective logging is another method used to meet the needs of both the forests and humans seeking
economical resources. Selective logging is the removal of trees within a stand based on size
limitations. This technique allows for forest regeneration to occur between and after the selective
harvest cycles.
Controlled burn
Controlled burn is a technique that is used to manage forests. Fire can benefit the ecosystem within
a forest. Fire is natural and it is also a tool of foresters used to improvethe forests. It renews the forest
undergrowth and also stimulates the germination of trees species. In some species of trees such as
the Sequoia, seedlings remain in dormancy until broken by fire.

6. Theme park
The yellow zone is the theme park. The theme park named
as escape theme park. Escape theme park is an outdoor
theme park which located at the top left side of the city. The
theme park open on everyday include public holiday and
school holiday .It is special design theme park which all the
facilities is built in nature way and it is a non-smoking theme
park .
The park featured an equal mix of thrill rides and family rides. Some thrill rides include a pirate
ship, 2 go kart tracks, 1 of which is catered to younger riders, fairground style rides, a walk-
through haunted house, as well as the highest log flume in Asia. There are also numerous family
attractions such as bumper boats, a family coaster, a Ferris wheel and a central pavilion with
many funfair-style games.
ZOO
The red area in the zoning is zoo.The zoo that build in the city is to protect the animal before we
build the city.When we build a city in a forest,we need to concern about the nature and do not
destroy the flora and fauna hence we special build a zoo to keep those animals inside and also
do it as a part of activities in the theme park.
Besides that, in the zoo we also had hired the some indigenous people as zookeeper to take care
the animals and give the treatment to the animals when injured . There are many kinds of animal
in zoo and the most famous animal in the zoo is Malaysia tiger.Many tourist come to PRASINOS
during their holiday time to enjoy the nature life and also see the Malaysia tiger.
Our zoo in mainly focus on safari zoo. Some zoos keep animals in larger, outdoor enclosures,
confining them with moats and fences, rather than in cages.In safari zoo,visitors can feed the
animals with selected food and come in close proximity to the animals to have a good experience
with them.

7. underground
Transportation
The transportation is built in underground of the city due to the limited land of the city.There is a
tunnel dig by manpower and built up a subway lane.The main pick up point will be at the entrance
of the city and there is a subway reach to each station every 15min.The cost of the subway train is
free and the train is used by solar energy to generate and backup by electrical energy which stored
by solar energy.The citizen and tourist can enjoy the nature life journey with low costing.The is a
after care of the subway train every week to ensure the safety of the visitor.
Power Grid
An power grid is an interconnected network for delivering electricity from suppliers to consumers.
It consists of generating stations that produce electrical power, high-voltage transmission lines that
carry power from distant sources to demand centers, and distribution lines that connect individual
customers.The main power grid is located at the undergrowth area which on the left hand side of
the entrance.
Water Supply System
A water supply system or water supply network is a system of engineered hydrologic and hydraulic
components which provide water supply.The water supply system will generated and filter the
underground water and send to every corner of the city.
Sewerage System
Sewerage refers to the infrastructure that conveys sewage. It encompasses components such as
receiving drains, manholes, pumping stations, storm overflows, and screening chambers of the
combined sewer or sanitary sewer. Sewerage ends at the entry to a sewage treatment plant or at
the point of discharge into the environment .The sewerage system is important to every city and it
should be active to avoid a city getting from pollution.
