Introduction:
The Revolutionary War was a long and hard-fought process that tested the colonists faith,
determination, and vision for a future nation. As students of history we need to explore and
understand the consequences of the revolution. During this WebQuest we will explore the results
of the war and the start of a vision the founding fathers developed of America.
Task:
You are a founding father after America won the war, your job is to gather intel of the war’s
results and with the other founding fathers discuss what everyone’s plan for the nation is. It is
vital you portray this information accurately and with a fresh perspective in order to gather the
public’s support.
Learners will recognize and describe the results of the war as well as discussing the future plan
for the nation. Learners will gather data and information through online research and videos and
compile their findings in the form of a skit that will be presented to the class upon completion.
2. Process:
You will work in groups of 4-5 each using the links and information provided, create a skit that
discusses the results of the war and the founding fathers plan for America. You will present in a
way as if you are a particular founding father yourself and the audience is the common colonists.
Your skit should be 5-7 minutes long.
