Different types of interviews
o Group Interview – takes place with other potential employees, helps
the organization in comparing the caliber of the applicants
o Panel Interview – takes place in a room where the candidate sits
with a panel of high profiled employees and answer questions in a
formal sitting
o One to One Interview – takes place with a single interviewer and
single interviewee
Beginning of an interview
o Before entering the room, please knock on the door and take
permission from the interviewer to enter the room.
o Maintaining a good body language sends out a positive signal to
the panel.
o Remember it’s your non verbal communication, which account’s for
70 per cent of your communication in the interview.
o Answering the questions confidently with a good body language is
the right message to send across right from the beginning.
Ending the interview
o Thank the panel for taking your interview.
o Don’t display any kind of stress and nervousness at the end of the
interview.
o Leave with an air of dignity.
