21. For someone who comes from South Europe
(Greece), to Poland, everything around him,
seems different* different environment:
constructions, buildings, houses, churches, shops,
means of transportation ..

24.
25. B U T, living here just for one day, one can realize
that although everything seems different ,in fact:
People who live here, follow the same routine as
Greek people
Structure of the Polish society, is almost the same
with the structure of Greek society!!!!
The same social groups!!!!
26. As I am highly concerned about people with
disabilities, walking in LODZ'S roads, I
focused on them:
It is obvious that in Poland as in Greece, the
disabled are PART OF OUR SOCIETY.
27.
28. In Greece we use to call them
“PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL ABILITIES”…
They take part in every day life

50. B U T......
some roads are ACCESSIBLE for them and
others are not,
51. some shops are ACCESSIBLE – others are not,
some hotels are - others are not,
some museums are - others are not,
some buildings are - others are not,
some means of transportation are - others
are not...
52. We see that all these people, LIVE AMONG
US,NEAR US,WITH US....
B U T ,the question is:
- DO WE, AS A SOCIETY, STAND SHOULDER
TO SHOULDER WITH THEM?????
-If the society decides to stand by them
today, probably in the future, they will have
the same opportunities, as we have....
53. -We should always remember that they have
various skills, but not many opportunities...
-Let’s make our cities accessible for them...
54. IT’S UP TO US TO GIVE THEM THE
OPPORTUNITY.....
IT’S UP TO US TO DO THE NEXT STEP....
IT’S UP TO US TO TAKE ACTION NOW!!!!
