3. CONCEPT
The seri combination is one of the electric combination arranged in parallel or
series. How it works is a series combination divides the flow generated from
another component.
4. • If there are 3 pieces in series, the voltage which is derived from the fruit of the circuit
will provide residual voltage generated so that this process can reduce the voltage
usage.
• In the series combination, 3 circuit in stacking counted only 1 circuit only. This circuit
also we can describe in a diagonal position, its function is to be able to understand the
reading of the image. Electrical combination of series can save costs.
5. To calculate the total resistance of a number of N resistors in series, then use the
following equation:
RT = R1 + R2 + R3 + … + RN () …. (persm. 1)
For the magnitude of the current in the resistor series, determined from Ohm's law:
I = E / RT (Ampere)…………… (persm. 2)
The voltage on each element determined from Ohm's law:
V1 = I R1, V2 = I R2,... VN = I RN (Volt)...(persm. 3)
