•Commercial Decline during Great Depression

•It is truly amazing how people of different backgrounds come together to form one
community
•We were surprised at the immense number of restaurants and landmarks there were
in a relatively small area
•Chicago is a diverse city that has something to offer people with all types of interests
•This was an authentic Chicago experience because we were able to appreciate the
perks of city-life
