3. With the title of ‘The Island of Dr. Moreau there is a
theme of eyes and teeth, mostly features you would
stereotypically see on a mystical creature ( fangs and
bright glowing eyes). Kyle Cooper does the same
effect on the titles in most of the titles that he
produces. This makes people know that it is Kyle
Coopers work. The titles are normal for the first shot
as to make it clear on the title of the film, then in the
next scenes the writing moves and creates effects and
it becomes distorted and hard to read. By doing this it
quickens the title sequence and it also goes with the
genre of the film as well as the images in the title
sequence.
4. Kyle Cooper adds in images of cells and images
associated with the body. This gives the audience a
clue on what the narrative of the story will be. With
these pictures and the pictures of mystical monsters
(vampires etc) its makes the audience think that
these are link together and it gives us a clue on what
the genre of the film is, which is fiction and scientific
romance. As well as showing the audience the genre
of the film it is also giving the film title a more
creepy look to it which is similar to his other title
sequences
