You can connect the GV-Video Server and GV-Compact DVR to a wireless broadband
network by one of these ways:
1. Connect a supported mobile broadband device to GV-Video Server/GV-Compact
DVR
Connect a supported mobile broadband device to the USB port on the GV-Video Server or
GV-Compact DVR. Then activate the UMTS settings from the web-based configuration
interface to access wireless broadband network. For the web-based configuration, see
“UMTS” section in the user’s manual.

2. 2. Connect a 3G mobile router to GV-Video Server/GV-Compact DVR
You can directly connect any 3G mobile router to GV-Video Server or GV-Compact DVR
by using an Ethernet cable. Be sure that the 3G mobile router has the 3G Internet
connection established to your service provider. The GV-Video Server or GV-Compact
DVR can then have a wireless Internet access through the router.
