6. Video games in teacher training: design,
implementa,on and evalua,on of an educa,onal

The objec,ves of the thesis are: (1) To analyse primary school teachers’ (in
service) ajtudes and future primary school teachers’ (at ini,al training)
ajtudes towards collabora,ve learning with video games; (2) to design,
implement and assess an educa,onal proposal about collabora,ve learning
with video games for future primary teachers. The research is divided into two
studies. In terms of Study 1, we chose an ex post facto approach. Regarding
Study 2, it is inside of program evalua,on methodologies (a pretest-postest
design with an only group). The instruments to collect data are an ajtude
scale, a knowledge test, an assessment ques,onnaire and a rubric.
